Randora.net ("Randora", "we", "our", "us") is a free random generator platform and interactive party games hub available at https://randora.net. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information. Randora does not require you to create an account, provide a name, or submit an email address to use any generator or game on the site.

The following data may be collected automatically when you visit Randora:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on site, browser type, and device type, collected in aggregate and anonymised through standard web server logs.
• IP address — your IP address may be logged temporarily by our hosting provider (Netlify) as part of normal server operations. We do not use this to identify you personally.
• Cookies — Google AdSense (our advertising partner) may set cookies on your device to serve personalised ads. See Section 4 for more.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Randora stores the following data in your browser's localStorage — on your device, not on our servers. This data never leaves your browser and we have no access to it.

• Saved Results (❤️) — generator outputs you choose to save. Stored as randora_favorites.
• Session History — recent results shown in the history panel. Stored per-generator.
• Age Verification (Drinking Games) — a flag (randora_age_ok = 1) stored when you confirm you are 18 or older before entering the Drinking Games Hub. This flag only prevents the age gate from showing again. No date, identity, or personal information is stored. See Section 6 for full details.

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data or localStorage through your browser settings.

4. Advertising — Google AdSense

Randora displays advertisements served by Google AdSense (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). AdSense may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to Randora and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.

5. Hosting — Netlify

Randora is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps. Please review Netlify's Privacy Policy for details. We do not use any other third-party tracking tools, analytics platforms, or social media pixels on this site.

6. Drinking Games Section — Age Verification

How the age gate works: When you click "Yes, I am 18 or older", a flag (randora_age_ok = 1) is written to your browser's localStorage. This only prevents the gate from showing on your next visit. No date of birth, identity, or personal data is collected or transmitted.

Limitations: Randora's age verification is a self-declaration system. We have no technical means to verify a user's actual age. Users who falsely confirm their age do so of their own accord. We encourage parents and guardians to use browser-level parental controls to restrict access to age-gated content.

Clearing age verification: You can clear the age flag at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or site data for randora.net. On your next visit to the Drinking Games Hub, the age gate will be shown again.

The Drinking Games section does not promote excessive alcohol consumption and includes responsible drinking reminders throughout.

7. Children's Privacy

Randora's main site is not directed at children under the age of 13. The Drinking Games section is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has accessed age-gated content or provided personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal information, most data rights are satisfied by default. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data. 9. Cookies Summary

Randora itself does not set any first-party cookies. The only cookies on this site are set by Google AdSense for advertising purposes (see Section 4). LocalStorage is used for preferences as described in Section 3 — localStorage is not a cookie and is not transmitted to servers.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the display of advertisements.

10. External Links

Some generators (such as the Gift Idea generator) may include links to external sites. These links are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
